We have been getting some requests for information for our home, so I have decided to create this blog to show the pictures and a video tour. This is by no means a professional tour or pictures, just the best I can do before we hit the road!
This is really a home with 4 bedrooms, 2 full bath, 2 living room, an extra "study" type room, and of course, a kitchen. Some of the bedrooms may technically not be bedrooms by county standards, but there are 4 of them that are very useable. There is no garage, but plenty of driveway space to park multiple cars. The neighborhood is safe, has families with young children and also middle aged and older adult families as well. It is near to Lutheran South, Grants Farm and trail, etc. I will explain the rest by pictures, and at the end is a link to a video.
Here is a picture of the outside with a fantastic magnolia tree. It looks small from the outside, but read on and you will see there is plenty of space on the inside:
I will start with the upstairs. It was originally an attic but a previous owner built a stairway to get up there and put in 2 rooms with closets. They make great kids rooms or spare rooms. One has wood laminate flooring and the other has a combination of carpet and vinyl flooring. Pictures below:
On the main floor there is a living room with a fake fireplace, pictures below:
There is a dining room:
There is a Kitchen that includes a fridge, microwave, stove, oven, and dishwasher. The side of the wall you can't see in the photos could fit a small 2-person table or additional storage if desired.
There is a full bath that was remodeled 2.5 years ago that also has a small linen closet behind the door. There is a shower and tub in this one.
The master bedroom on the main level has a closet and also this large wardrobe that is not built in, but works really well in this room The other door you see there goes directly to the front door, which is convenient for placing jackets on the bed when you have a lot of guests.
Finally on the main floor there is another room that used to be a bedroom, but the closet was removed to put in stairs to go upstairs. You have to walk through this room to get upstairs. When we lived in the home and only had an infant child, we used this as a nursery since we only used the upstairs for an office and guests. It would make a great study, playroom, or a nursery as well if you want.
All of the finished basement was completed about 2.5 years ago.
In the basement there is a full bathroom with shower and large linen closet, and a large bedroom with 2 closets:
There is a large family/living room with a wet bar and fridge, with a walkout to the outside:
There is also a large storage area and laundry in the basement. Right now there is a washer, and I can buy a dryer and put it in if someone wants (Gas hookup).
In the fenced-in backyard there is a shed with mower, weedeater, etc.
There is no garage, but plenty of room for multiple cars:
